Abbey of St Edmund is celebrating 1,000 years this year with the “Abbey 1,000 sculpture exhibition”. The first sculpture is a 2.3m steel monk which has been erected in the crypt of the Abbey gardens where the shrine of St Edmund would have stood. November is the final month that the monk can be viewed in the Abbey Gardens.
